Facts about Parkinson's Disease:

Parkinson's is the fastest growing brain disease in the world, second only to Alzheimer's Disease.

The number of Parkinson's patients worldwide is expected to double between 2015 and 2040.

Someone is diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease every 9 seconds.

Our Mission:

Club Parkinson's will be a leader to those affected by Parkinson's Disease through a research-based wellness model to meet physical, emotional, nutritional, and social needs.  Our educational support and community resources will provide hope and empowerment throughout the Parkinson's Disease journey.

WHAT is Parkinson's Disease?

Parkinson's Disease is a progressive disease of the nervous system marked by tremors, muscular rigidity, and slow, imprecise movements.  This movement disorder chiefly affects those with an average age of 60 and young onset before the age of 50.

WHO has Parkinson's Disease?

Nearly 1 million people in the U.S.  and more than 10 million people worldwide are living with Parkinson's Disease.  That is more than the combined number of people diagnosed with MS, Muscular Dystrophy, and ALS.

What is Club Parkinson's?

Club Parkinson's is a wellness and education center designed to fill the gap that exists between a diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease and managing the disease for improved quality of life.

Our research-based programs, provided by Parkinson's certified therapists and wellness coaches and students, will improve the overall health and well-being of those with Parkinson's.  We strive to include caregivers as a vital part of the program for an all-inclusive care model.

We are a 501(c)3 not-for-profit public charitable organization in Wichita, Kansas.

Our Purpose:

Change the way Parkinson's is viewed and managed.

Transform the journey for people with Parkinson's Disease.

Be a leader in cutting-edge Parkinson's research.
